Four dropped as Migne names his final squad for AFCON

As national teams continue to release their s final squads of 23 players to participate in the African Cup of Nations, Harambee stars head coach Sebastian Migne has dropped four players from the national team from the previous 27 man squad he mentioned earlier.
Midfielder Christopher Mbamba was among the players dropped due to an ankle injury. Mbamba has not won any cup for the national team. He missed out the team’s Afcon qualification match against Ghana in the second leg due to delay in processing his travelling documents.
The Sweden based player said that he will be watching and supporting the national team from home and focusing on rehabilitating himself back to 100-percent.
Defender Brian Mandela who is based in South Africa was also dropped by Migne because of the injury he sustained during training session on Monday and it will take long to for him to recover.
Clifton Miheso and Anthony Akumu were also dropped from the national team. Migne named a squad of 27-players who went to France but because of the rules , a team is allowed to register 23 players only for the tournament.
The tournament is set for Egypt between June 21st and July 19th and will see the best African teams battle it out for the top price .
Stars who are in group C with Tanzania, Senegal and Algeria will face the Democratic Republic of Congo in Madrid this weekend in an international friendly match.
