Margaret Mwachanya, Consolata Nkatha, and Paul Kurgat are among the nominees for the deputy heads of mission.
Margaret Mwachanya was nominated as deputy head mission to Instanbul, Consolata Nkatha to Rome as Paul Kurgat was nominated as deputy head mission to Moscow.
Other nominees are Amb. Martin Kimani as Kenya’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations New York.

Amb. Jean Kamau, Mr. Linday Kiptiness, and Amb. Tom Omollo were nominated for Addis Ababa, Bangkok, and Berlin ambassadorial jobs respectively.

Also on the list was Mama Ida Odinga’s PA, Irene Achieng’ Oloo who was nominated for the deputy head of mission in New Delhi.
The nominations did not come without its fair share of criticism as a section of Kenyans felt that the former IEBC commissioners were ‘rewarded’.
Some leaders affiliated with the tangatanga sect were quick to criticize the nomination of Irene Oloo but were reminded of June Ruto’s (Deputy President William Ruto’s daughter) appointment as Charge de Affaires (envoy) to Poland.
