Michael Tuborlayefa Karamor joins Sofapaka football club ahead of the 2020/2021 Kenya Premier League season.

According to the club’s president, Elly Kalekwa, a two-year deal to join Sofapaka aims at improving the club’s performance.

“We want to have a strong, compact, and competitive squad made of effective players for the 2020/2021 season,” said Kalekwa.

Karamor, Nigerian, is the fifth signing after securing the services of Michael Bodo, Kevin Omondi, Roy Okal, and Paul Kiongera.

He played for Lagos Atetico in Nigeria before joining Batoto Ba Mungu.

This comes as the Kenya Premier League clubs jostle to recruit the best squad.

Last week the Cabinet Secretary for sports announced that all contact sporting activities such as football, hockey, handball, team building, basketball, netball, wrestling, wheelchair basketball remain closed.
